What is Meta Andromeda? Andromeda is Meta's ads retrieval system, launched in 2024. Retrieval is the first stage of Meta's ad recommendation process: it narrows tens of millions of ad candidates down to a few thousand that the ranking models then score for each person. Meta built it to handle a much larger number of creatives.

What does Andromeda mean for creative?

Meta says Andromeda helps it pick the right creative for each person as businesses upload more creatives to diversify (Meta for Business). Meta does not publish a number of creatives to run.
