How does Seedance pricing work?
BytePlus bills Seedance on its ModelArk platform per token, not per second. Its pricing doc, checked 12 Oct 2026, gives the formula in words: estimated tokens equal the input video duration plus the output video duration, times the output width, times the output height, times the frame rate, divided by 1,024. The price is tokens times the rate per million tokens.
In practice, three things set the price:
- Resolution. More pixels per frame means more tokens.
- Length. Each second of output adds tokens.
- Video input. If you feed in a reference video, its length counts too, and minimum token charges apply. The rate per million tokens is lower with video input, but the input adds tokens.
BytePlus says you are only charged for successfully generated videos.
What does Seedance cost per second?
BytePlus publishes its own per-second examples for a 16:9, 5-second output with no video input. These are the figures the calculator uses:

A 9:16 clip at the same resolution has the same pixel count as 16:9, so these examples also fit vertical ads. Other aspect ratios change the pixel count and the cost. Rows with video input have no per-second example, so the calculator leaves them out.
What does one ad cost on Seedance?
Take 5-second clips, 3 attempts per clip you keep, 4 clips per ad and 10 ads a month: 600 seconds generated.
- Seedance 2.5, 480p (the option the calculator opens on): 600 × $0.103 = $61.80 a month, $6.18 per ad.
- Seedance 2.0, 720p: 600 × $0.15 = $90 a month, $9.00 per ad.
- Seedance 2.0 Mini, 720p: 600 × $0.08 = $48 a month, $4.80 per ad.
Resolution moves the cost most. On Seedance 2.0, 1080p costs about two and a half times as much per second as 720p. Generating drafts at 480p or 720p and saving 1080p for the final takes keeps the attempts cheap. These are BytePlus prices, not Anglr prices.
Can you buy Seedance in the US?
Not from BytePlus directly. BytePlus states that its Model Services "are not available in the United States". BytePlus's Seedance 2.5 plans (Light, Production, Premium) also showed "Loading pricing…" with no published price on 12 Oct 2026.
The Dreamina app, which also offers Seedance, showed its plans only in Philippine pesos to our check: Basic PHP 910 a month, Standard PHP 2,190, Advanced PHP 5,803 for the first month then PHP 9,672, and Ultra PHP 18,979 then PHP 31,632. No US dollar prices were published to us, and prices appear to be set by region, so they are not converted or used in the calculator.
How does Seedance compare with other routes?
Seedance models are also sold through platforms that publish their own prices:
- The Runway API lists seedance2 at 36 credits a second for 480p or 720p, $0.36 at Runway's $0.01 per credit, plus seedance2_fast, seedance2_mini and seedance2_5 rates. See Runway pricing.

Is Seedance available in the US?
BytePlus says its Model Services are not available in the United States. Seedance models are also sold through other platforms, such as Runway's API and Higgsfield, which publish their own prices.
Why is Seedance priced per token?
BytePlus counts tokens from the clip's duration, width, height and frame rate, then multiplies by a price per million tokens. Higher resolution and longer clips use more tokens, so they cost more.
How much is Dreamina per month?
Dreamina's pricing page showed plans only in Philippine pesos to our check, from PHP 910 a month for Basic. No US dollar prices were published to us, so they are not converted here.
