AI video pricing index

This AI video pricing index lists what Higgsfield, HeyGen, Arcads, Runway, Veo, Kling and Seedance publish on their own pricing pages: the cheapest paid plan and the lowest price per second of video. Every value comes from the vendor and was checked 12 Oct 2026. Where a vendor publishes nothing, the table says so.

What does the index cover?

The table covers seven tools used to make AI video ads. Each row shows the cheapest published paid plan, the lowest published API price per second, and the date the vendor page was checked. Each tool's own page has the full price tables, the credit cost of each model, and a cost calculator preset to that tool.

Sora is not listed. OpenAI shut Sora 2 down.

Where do the prices come from?

Every price comes from the vendor's own pricing page or API documentation, never from a review site or reseller. Each value is stored with its source link and the date it was checked, and the date is shown next to it.

Where a vendor does not publish a figure, it is left blank rather than estimated:

  • Arcads has no public price list.
  • HeyGen publishes plans but not how many credits a video uses.
  • Kling's membership prices load only in a logged-in session, so only its API prices are shown.
  • Seedance's Dreamina plans are shown only in local currency, and BytePlus's API is not available in the United States.

Prices change often. Check the linked vendor page before you buy.

Credits or price per second: what is the difference?

Tools charge in one of two ways.

  • Plan credits. You pay a fixed monthly price for a credit allowance, and each model spends credits per clip at its own rate. Higgsfield, HeyGen, Runway's app and Kling's app work this way. The cost per ad depends on which plan covers your monthly credits, so it moves in steps.
  • Price per second. You pay for each second of video you generate, usually through an API. Google's Veo, Kling's API, Runway's API and BytePlus's Seedance work this way. The cost moves in a straight line with volume.

Neither is cheaper in general. A plan suits steady volume, and per-second pricing suits uneven volume.

How do you work out the cost of one ad?

Use the AI video cost calculator. Enter your clip length, the attempts you make per clip you keep, clips per ad and ads per month. It returns the monthly cost and cost per finished ad for one model, and every other model side by side on the same inputs.
